Stoke v Norwich Tip

Two clubs who have struggled for goals in both the short and long term.

Stoke and Norwich were two of the three lowest scorers in the Premier League in 2012-13 and so far there’s little reason to think much has changed.

The Canaries have been shut out in three of their five league fixtures this campaign and have only found the net once in four outings since their opening day 2-2 draw with Everton. Record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel scored on debut that day, but not since, while Gary Hooper has struggled with injury.

The Potters have fared better having beaten Palace and West Ham and drawn with Man City, but seven points is a great return for a club still averaging under a goal per game.

There were a couple of 1-0 home wins when these sides met last term and the highest ever score between these two in the Premier League is 1-1. I’m therefore sticking with a favoured bet of under 1.5 goals in the match at best odds of 85/40 with StanJames.
