Stoke V Arsenal Tip

Stoke: Remains a fortress against the country's finest.

Arsenal have lost three of their last four trips to this daunting stadium in all competitions.

Stoke are essentially evens money (20/21 StanJames) to either win or draw against Arsenal on Saturday and it’s not hard to prove statistically why this is a shrewd bet.

The Potters have either won or drawn 75% of their Premier League matches at the Britannia Stadium this season (W7 D5 L4). The clincher is that Tony Pulis’s side seem to actually save their best for the top flight’s elite.

Of the best sides in the country, only Newcastle have left the Britannia with the spoils; that was way back in October when Stoke were enduring a slump while getting used to the demands of Europa League football.

Other than that it’s a ground where the big guns fear to tread. Tottenham and Liverpool left empty-handed, while Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea all escaped with nothing more than draws.

This double-chance bet exploits the bookmakers’ refusal to accept the trends we can all see.
