Stoke on Trend

Who will get their hands on the famous trophy?

The FA Cup Final will be between Manchester City and Stoke after two surprising semi final scorelines.

Stoke City may have destroyed Bolton Wanderers 5-0 in their semi final, yet they remain 4/1 outsiders to win their first FA Cup Final over 90 minutes. Victor Chandler offer 9/4 on the Potters lifting the Cup one way or another, even if by virtue of extra-time or penalties. The match on Sunday was decided well before that after goals from Etherington, Huth and Jones put Pulis’ team in charge by half-time. Two strikes in the second period from former Trotter Jon Walters only compounded the misery for Owen Coyle’s side.

The bookies believe that Man City have done all the hard work by beating neighbours United 1-0 on Saturday. Mancini’s millionaires are 2/5 to lift the Cup, and 3/4 to do the job in 90 minutes after United were humbled by a solitary strike by Yaya Toure. The Blues’ faithful will desperately hope that their star striker Carlos Tevez will be fit in time to grace the Wembley showpiece.
