Stoke City Odds 2012-13

Stoke in action.

Mid-table certainties every year and handy in the cups. Yet still, somehow, under-rated.

Best Title Odds: 3000/1 (Coral)

Value Bet: 9/4 (Boylesports) - To finish top 10.

They were 8th in March before a long season tailed off and they finished 14th. Hardly surprising after a debut European campaign and they were still only 2 points off 10th. Wouldn’t take much more to get there.

Summary:

Perhaps nobody has been talked about less over the summer, with neither the outgoing or incoming transfers worthy of much excitement. Robert Huth signed a new contract but then came down with suspected meningitis. Not much else has happened.

Verdict:

A few people are whispering about a possible relegation fight but one suspects Tony Pulis will be delighted about that. The Potters have never looked in any danger since returning to the big time in 2008 and they will be fine again and glad to be under-estimated. FA Cup finalists two years ago, they are 40/1 (Bet365) to go one better.
