Spurs Go Marching On

Everton score lots of goals, as do Spurs, but only the Londoners know how to keep them out at the other end.

Everton fans are growing wearily accustomed to scoring but losing and we can back that to happen again at best odds of 18/5 with Boylesports.

The Toffees are hugely entertaining having scored the third most goals in the top flight (35), including 22 at Goodison Park. The chronic problem for Roberto Martinez is that that average of 2.20 goals per home game has only resulted in three victories in 10 attempts.

With Phil Jagielka not quite ready to return, don’t expect much to change on Sunday.

For Spurs, the situation could hardly look more rosy. They are unbeaten on the road since the opening day (W4 D4), score plenty but can also boast the best defence in the top flight.

Another triumph here and title talk won’t be looking so fanciful.
