Southampton 10/1 for Top 6 Finish
The Saints go marching on; they have the best defensive record in the top flight.
Fourth in the table with 14 points from seven games, and only two points off the top, Southampton may be starting to attract some interest from punters who can still get a best price of 10/1 (Ladbrokes) on the Saints finishing top six.
The real romantics might even want to take a crack at Mauricio Pochettino’s men finishing where they currently sit; a top four berth and Champions League football at St Mary’s Stadium is a 50/1 (Ladbrokes) shot. And why stop there? They are 1000/1 (Betfred) for the title!
More realistically, Pochettino may be poised for some individual recognition. The former Argentinian international is 16/1(BetVictor) to win October Manager of the Month and 12/1 (StanJames) to be named the LMA Manager of the Year.
