Wise Old Dogs Target Defensive Discipline
Big Sam will be craving a debut clean sheet while Pulis comes from the same school of thought.
When Tony Pulis and Sam Allardyce are on the sidelines, the first market I look at is under 1.5 goals in the match.
West Brom league games this season have produced one goal or none at all 50% of the time but a spell of poor Baggies defending before the international break will have Pulis tightening up even more. The other problem the boss has, which helps us here, is that nobody looks like scoring down the other end if Berahino isn’t firing.
That’s good news for ‘Big Sam’ as he embarks on the first game in his new job and you can bet your bottom dollar he’s spent the last week or so focussing on the defensive side of things as top priority.
