Stingy Eagles Could Spring A Surprise
The Lilywhites have conceded more than twice as many goals as the Eagles in the past two months.
Crystal Palace are a best price 10/1 (Coral) to win at White Hart Lane and based on form going back a couple of months, that looks like a real bargain.
If the league had begun on 1 November then the two teams would sit side-by-side in the table in 8th and 9th spots. When you consider that Tottenham have only won three of their 10 top flight matches at White Hart Lane then the case for a surprise result only grows stronger.
Furthermore, since 8 November the Eagles have the best defensive record in the league having only conceded a mere eight goals in 10 matches. Compare that to their esteemed London rivals who have let in 20 in that time - only Fulham and West Ham have leaked more.
Tony Pulis knows his boys were unfortunate to come away from Chelsea and Man City with 2-1 and 1-0 defeats respectively; results that owed much to the form of the home goalkeepers. It might only take a better rub of the green for them to emerge from Spurs with a famous victory at a huge price.
