Tottenham were always going to be something close to evens money favourites for this one (21/20 Betfred) but I think the most likely result is a draw at best odds of 13/5 with Bet365.

Sunderland had won three games on the trot at the Stadium of Light across all competitions before Wednesday’s loss to Chelsea. But there was even significant glory in defeat for the Black Cats that night who led, scored three goals and nearly snatched a point against the Europa League holders.

Gus Poyet has the Mackems playing much better than under Di Canio and their basement placement is a false position in the league table right now. They face a Spurs side who had gone four matches without a win before the unconvincing 2-1 triumph over Fulham in midweek.

I suspect both teams would just about accept sharing the spoils here which always makes it an even more likely outcome.
