United’s ills resurfaced in the first half of the Manchester derby whilst Watford are no pushovers.

Man Utd might have only lost by a solitary goal in the Manchester derby but they were taken apart in the first half, revealing the same problems that blighted LVG’s tenure. Jose Mourinho still has plenty of work and the ‘to do’ list might suddenly get longer if they slip up against Watford.

The Hornets are in a period of transition as they adjust to Walter Mazzarri’s demands but they were excellent against West Ham last week with Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney back amongst the goals.

United’s back-line still don’t convince and Paul Pogba will need a more disciplined performance in midfield or risk getting overrun by the in-form Etienne Capoue and Roberto Pereyra.
