Liverpool v West Brom Tip
The Reds have a chance to prove they have more resolve these days in what is a potential banana skin fixture.
This will be a good test of Liverpool’s progress against a West Brom team unbeaten in five matches and I think they will pass, if only just. The Reds are a best price 14/5 (Ladbrokes) to win by one goal and I could easily see that panning out.
As always the bookies are right behind the Merseysiders at Anfield and make them nothing longer than 9/20 (BetVictor) for the straight victory. But it really won’t be that easy against opponents who have won the last three league clashes against them and beat Man Utd at Old Trafford last month.
However, I think Brendan Rodgers’ team had their home slip-up against Southampton, who are just that little bit better than the Baggies, and will prove more resilient this time. Suarez wasn’t available against the Saints, but his renewed partnership with Sturridge is simply too hot for most defences to handle right now.
