Liverpool v Norwich Tip

The Brazilian has plenty of shots and should be handed a particularly attacking role in the absence of Sturridge.

Nobody has let in more goals on their travels than Norwich who have picked the ball out of their own net 16 times in six league outings - that’s an average of 2.67 times per match. They will surely head to Anfield full of trepidation given that Liverpool are amongst the top attacking outfits in the land.

Unfortunately, and unsurprisingly, the bookies have made Luis Suarez pretty hard to side with in the anytime goalscorer market with his odds hovering around the 4/7 mark. But with Daniel Sturridge on the sidelines this could be an opportunity for Philippe Coutinho to get on the scoresheet at the much more appealing 5/2 with Betfred.

The Brazilian will probably get license to roam forward even more than usual in the absence of Sturridge and he hardly lacks for opportunities anyway. The 21-year-old has already had 25 shots in 2013-14 from just six starts and two substitute appearances. To put that in perspective, Lukaku has scored eight league goals for Everton in eight starts and from 28 shots.

Both men scored in the recent Merseyside derby but it’s the Liverpool man whom we should expect to see improving his strike-rate. He was only able to come off the bench against Hull at the weekend, but Brendan Rodgers expects him to be fit to start on Wednesday. The Canaries should be worried.
