Hull v Fulham Tip

The Cottagers are on a high and could move out of the bottom three with a result here.

Momentum is particularly likely to count over the Christmas period when games come thick and fast which is why I’m backing Fulham to make it back-to-back away wins at best odds of 29/10 with Bet365.

The Cottagers will arrive at the KC Stadium on a real high after Scott Parker fired a spectacular 87th minute winner at Carrow Road on Boxing Day. Compare that to Hull City who blew a 2-0 lead over Man Utd to lose 3-2 on their own patch. The manner of the two results may have an impact here; elation versus real disappointment.

To make matters worse, Steve Bruce picked up significant injuries in the defeat to the champions. Goalkeeper Allan McGregor and midfielder David Meyler picked up knee problems while the boss’s son Alex Bruce may also miss this one with a calf strain. The hosts probably don’t have the squad strength to cope with a clutch of notable absentees.

In contrast, Fulham will not only be buzzing but they may have star man Dimitar Berbatov fit again to add to their ranks on Saturday. The Londoners have actually picked up more points on their travels so far this season so we shouldn’t fear backing another away success against opponents who are now winless in five outings.
