Hull v Bournemouth Preview

Hull v Bournemouth Preview

Marco Silva’s appointment could make a big difference for a team that can still avoid relegation.

The footballing UKIP of Phil Thompson and Paul Merson might not approve of Marco Silva’s appointment but hey who cares about facts anyway.

What they have ignored is that Hull fluked a couple of early wins, Mike Phelan snaffled a contract and his team then proceeded to be awful. At least a change in direction gives Hull a chance to avoid the drop, something that was becoming ever more likely the way they were heading.

Not many people saw their moral boosting win in the FA Cup but they can carry some confidence into a winnable Premier League game. Bournemouth must be feeling the opposite after a shabby performance in losing to Millwall.

Eddie Howe’s team don’t travel particularly well and don’t read too much into their win over Swansea, a team that seemed to have given up on Bob Bradley. This is very much a winnable game for Hull and they are a big price at 23/10.
