A Geordie Nightmare

Hull have won 2 of their last 4 games and were simply unlucky last week. The Tigers' greater need can see them triumph at a disinterested White Hart Lane.

Many have been quick to write off Hull City after their home defeat to Burnley plunged them into the relegation zone but that’s a mistake.

The Tigers actually played well but were woefully unfortunate against the Clarets. They only conceded with captain Michael Dawson off the pitch while Robbie Brady twice struck the bar with beautiful free-kicks. On most days, the side with 21 shots on goal would beat the side with 8.

If Steve Bruce’s boys produce the same performance on Saturday they can claim a priceless victory at White Hart Lane. The key will be scoring first; Hull have won the only two times they have taken the lead recently.

Spurs appear to have lost all interest in the season having won only once in six outings, failing to score in four of those matches. The home crowd will quickly lose heart if the Lilywhites fall behind and there may be no way back.

Tottenham have lost their last two home games 1-0 and Bet365 go 16/1 that it happens again. Hull beat Liverpool 1-0 only a couple of weeks ago and with talisman Jelavic returning to the starting line-up, history could repeat itself at a big price.
