The Canaries are off-form and under-strength. It's a classic recipe for an upset.
As a betting man it was hard not to look on in frustration at last night’s League Cup upsets. Villa’s win at Man City and Leeds’ victory over Everton proved yet again that under-strength and under-motivated teams simply don’t justify the short odds they are given in this competition.

They say that these matches are an ideal opportunity for struggling Premier League sides to regain their confidence, but they often just deepen the gloom. Norwich City are winless in the top flight this season and have only mustered 2 goals in 5 outings. With Chris Hughton set to ring the changes this evening, the impact could go either way.
The Canaries limped past League One Scunthorpe in the previous round and exited to third-tier MK Dons in the second round last year. Doncaster are on a little unbeaten run in the same division and will come to Norfolk hopeful of an upset. Quite simply, at these odds they’re worth a punt.
