Man City v QPR Tip

Cisse has had a mixed return to England.

If anyone is going to cause another twist in the title race it's likely to be the man with 5 goals in 7 games.

If nerves are going to play a part at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon then they are likely to come early on. You would have to assume that once the league leaders get settled, then they will secure the three points required to be crowned champions for the first time in 44 years.

But at 3pm it would only be human for Roberto Mancini’s boys to feel a little tense. If QPR come out of the blocks quickly then they could catch the hosts cold. At best odds of 18/1 (bet365), Djibril Cisse must rank as a decent value bet in the first goalscorer market.

The French striker grabbed what could be a priceless 89th winner at Loftus Road last week to move the Hoops two points clear of Bolton with just 90 minutes or so of the season remaining.

Cisse has had his fair share of problems since returning to England having been sent off twice. But when he has played, he has always been a threat. With five goals in seven appearances, the 30-year-old must be the danger man who could send shock waves round the stadium.
