Man City v Arsenal Tip: Anytime Goalscorer
RVP is the hottest striker in Britain. Man City keep fewer clean sheets than many people think and he's already scored at Chelsea and Man Utd.
For the big game of the weekend Arsenal head to the Etihad Stadium with the leading marksman in the country - Robin van Persie. This will undoubtedly be a stern test for the Gunners, but I still feel that the 2/1 (Boylesports) available on the Dutchman scoring at anytime in the match is very much on the generous side.
The assumption that top opponents make the best players considerably less likely to score can be strongly questioned. For one thing, City have conceded in their last eight league matches - their worst run for over three years. So they are far from impenetrable.
As for Van Persie, well, he pretty much scores against everyone. 15 league goals in 15 matches says it all, but that sort of ratio has been maintained throughout 2011. And he is no flat track bully who only finds the net against weaker defences. He scored a hat-trick at Stamford Bridge, and even added to his personal tally in the 8-2 debacle at Old Trafford. 2/1 (Boylesports) on a goal machine scoring at some time during Sunday afternoon can be strongly advised.
