Blackpool Rocking

West Ham are down, leaving five teams to battle for safety. With one point separating them it could come down to goal difference.

An injury time winner from Charles N’Zogbia sent West Ham down to the Championship, but wins for Wigan, Blackpool and Wolves mean any two from five could join them.

With one point from their last five games, Carling Cup winners Birmingham have been sucked deep into the relegation battle. Only goal difference keeps them above the dreaded dotted line. It has been quite a fall from grace for Alex McLeish’s team; they are now 5/6 to be relegated having been 12/1 only two weeks ago.

The final round of games is on Sunday with one point separating five teams, two must go down.
