Europa League Betting: City Slickers
It was a good night for British teams in the Europa League, with all three progressing to the last 16. In the betting, Man City remain favourites.
Manchester City remain 4/1 favourites for the Europa League after a comfortable 3-0 win over Aris Salonika. An early brace from Edin Dzeko put the tie beyond the Greek side and Mancini’s men can look forward to facing Dynamo Kiev in the last 16.
The other two British teams in action left it late to settle their ties. Dirk Kuyt scored an 86th minute winner for Liverpool at home to Sparta Prague. In Portugal it needed a stoppage time equaliser from Maurice Edu to send Rangers into the last sixteen on away goals.
