Germany Euro 2012 Odds

This exciting, young German team has seen its defensive frailties exposed in recent friendlies.

Germany
FIFA Ranking: 2

Qualifying Campaign: W10 D0 L0
Average points per game: 3.0
Average goals scored: 3.4
Average goals conceded: 0.7

Summary:
Faultless during qualifying despite facing tricky opponents in Turkey, Belgium and Austria.  Their top scorer during qualifying - Miroslav Klose should be fit for Euro 2012 but his position is under threat from Mario Gomez who netted 41 goals for Bayern Munich this season.  Mesut Ozil pulls the strings in midfield, ably assisted by the 22-year-old Toni Kroos.

Prediction:
Irresistible going forward, the Germans have looked vulnerable in defence.  They have lost their last two games, conceding seven goals in the process. That Arsenal’s Per Mertesacker is included in the squad after a lengthy absence through injury suggests vulnerability in the heart of defence. With a tough draw, Germany could be eliminated in the group stages at 3/1 with Boylesports.
