With a remarkable 17 league goals in his first season in England, Swansea can lay claim to making the signing of the season when they secured the services of Michu for just £2m last summer.
The Swans have suffered something of a dip since their League Cup heroics crowned a glorious season but their Spanish star has kept up his form through almost the entire campaign. He has found the net twice in his last three outings as well as on his last trip to Stamford Bridge in the Capital-One Cup semi.
That famous 2-0 victory followed by a 0-0 draw in the return leg in Wales means that Swansea are now unbeaten in four fixtures with the European champions. So they travel with great hope, against the odds, yet again.
It’s hard to see that fine sequence of results continuing, but Michu looks a good price to score anytime at best odds of 10/3 with WilliamHill.
