Hull v Swansea Preview

Hull v Swansea Preview

Despite Marco Silva’s positive impact, he is stuck with a threadbare squad. Meanwhile Swansea are on a roll.

Hull’s mini-revival has hit the buffers in the last couple of weeks and the pressure is on against Swansea. This isn’t a criticism of Marco Silva, he is an upgrade on Mike Phelan but he simply doesn’t have the personnel at his disposal. Andrea Ranocchia looked a liability against Leicester and Fernando Llorente must be licking his lips.

Swansea are on a run of five wins in their last eight games, with defeats against Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea hardly disastrous results.

Paul Clement has had a positive impact but he’s also been helped by the numbers working in his favour. Prior to his arrival Swansea had been posting good shot numbers but atrocious conversion percentages.

If Lukasz Fabianski could also start saving shots, then combined with a hot striker they really would be in business. At 21/10 (BetVictor) they must be backed to win.
