Chelsea Keep Title Dream Alive
The bookmakers make Chelsea the most likely title challengers as they moved ahead of Arsenal on goal difference.
It was always going to be a difficult north London derby to win and so it proved, as Arsenal squandered a two-goal lead at White Hart Lane. The gap to leaders Man United is now six points and the Gunners have drifted to 14/1 from 15/2.
Level on points in second place are Chelsea, after a 3-1 win over Birmingham. The reigning champions are seemingly United’s biggest title rivals; bookmakers are going 7/1 they can seal a remarkable turnaround and win the league.
For Tottenham the derby wasn’t just about derailing their enemy’s title bid, they also have a fourth place to fight for. The draw leaves Spurs two points behind Man City and 11/4 shots to grab the final Champions League spot.
