Brighton v Crystal Palace Tip

Without Glenn Murray it's hard to see where a Palace goal is coming from in this play-off.

While Brighton and Palace go into the second leg at the Amex Stadium all square, it’s very hard to see how the visitors are going to progress to Wembley.

The defining moment of the 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park on Friday night may prove to be Glenn Murray’s excruciating knee injury halfway through the second half which saw the 30-goal striker stretchered off for the hosts.

It doesn’t bare thinking about where the Eagles would have been without the former Brighton man this season. Nobody else has scored more than six for the south-London club and his likely replacement on Monday, Aaron Wilbraham, has only ever scored once for Palace.

Throw in the terrible away form of Ian Holloway’s boys, one victory since mid-November, and there only looks like being one winner in this play-off. Brighton are now 10 matches unbeaten and won this fixture 3-0 in March. They hold all the cards and look like value to win to nil at best odds of 21/10 with Skybet.
