Came from a seemingly hopeless position to win on debut running a closing sectional 1.12s faster than her rivals.
Zoella put in a mighty performance to win from a hopeless position on debut. It marked her out as a potential smart filly and is given a chance off 80 in the 3.25 Goodwood.
Last time out at Lingfield she looked beaten turning for home. She’d given the leaders a 5-length advantage with two furlongs to run but worse she let them set a steady gallop with a 110.7% finishing speed.
However, on the home-straight Zoella took off. She covered the final 2f in 22.65s over 1.1s quicker than anything else in the race and she recorded the fastest sectional on the card, despite being given a hands and heels ride.
She could be quite useful and is a horse to keep onside.
