Goodwood Tips: The Last Lion
Overcame a wide draw and a strong pace to score at Sandown and looks made for the Molecomb.
The Last Lion has had plenty of racing this season but is a tough juvenile and has finished 12221 in his races.
Last time out at Sandown he did well to track an overly strong pace from the widest draw. It didn’t inconvenience him as he pulled clear to win by 2 lengths and earn an adjusted speed rating of 99.
Mark Johnston’s colt has plenty of early speed and the class to win the Group 2 Molecomb Stakes.
