Tellovoi Keeps Going Close
Finished 323 on last three starts at the track, his speed ratings are good for the grade and his winning turn will come.
Like our Alpha Tauri our second tip has been banging on the door all winter at Southwell. Tellovoi has finished 323 on the Fibresand and has been clocking speed ratings that are usually good enough to win a class 6 handicap.
In two of those races he has not been able to sustain the strong gallop, fading in the shadow of the post and on his last attempt over course and distance he was handicapped by the draw, a factor compounded by a slow start.
If he breaks on terms and sets a sustainable gallop there is no reason he shouldn’t be winning at 9/4 (William Hill).
