Southwell: Toto Skyllachy
The best horse in the race, you just need to forgive his last run.
With only two meetings to pick from our betting options are limited but there is a slither of value to be found in the 2.40 Southwell.
Toto Skyllachy ran an absolute clunker last time but if you ignore that run, he is the class horse in the field.
His record at Southwell this season is 12525 but I’ve been particularly impressed by his speed ratings of 73-52-67-62-18 (source: Topspeed).
The performances are equivalent of a good class 5 horse and that should be enough to win a race of this calibre.
The cheek-pieces are left off, a potential reason for his poor showing last time and at 4/1 (Bet365) he rates a good bet.
