Southwell Tips: Spirit Of Zeb

The 3.20 Southwell contains the top-4 who contested a similar race over course and distance a fortnight ago. However, they are much of a muchness and the class horse in the field is Spirit Of Zeb.

The 3-year-old is unbeaten in two starts at the track and ran an impressive sectional adjusted speed rating of 76 last time. Equally capable over five or six furlongs the only problem is the draw.

Drawn in stall 10 there is a danger he gets marooned up the nearside rail, often the slowest part of the track but Tony Hamilton will be aware of this.

There is plenty of early pace in the line-up and if Spirit Of Zeb can shuffle over to the middle of the track then he should get a good tow into the race.
