In his two starts over course and distance, he has finished third and first both in a higher grade and off a higher mark than he contests today. His last triumph was by four lengths and in quick time for the grade.
His previous visit to Southwell was in March and, in all honesty, he hasn’t done a lot since. However, two starts ago he shaped with promise at Kempton. From a wide draw, he was staying on at the finish after getting outpaced around the turn. A return to the slower fibresand surface should suit him and at 5/1 (Boylesports) he is overpriced on the pick of his form.
