Southwell Tips: Cadeaux Pearl
Previous course and distance winner drops to class 6 level for the first time in his career.
If Cadeaux Pearl continues his recent form he will be tough to beat in the 2.30 Southwell.
A previous course and distance winner, many of his best performances have come on the fibresand, including two good runs this autumn.
Two days ago he finished a creditable second behind Powerful Wind at Southwell and back in November he was only beaten 5.25 lengths in a class 4 handicap, despite a poor draw.
This afternoon he races in a class 6 contest for the first time in his career and he should be able to capitalise from the drop in grade.
