Southwell Tips: Aubrietia
Won three of her last four starts; only defeat by a nose. Proven on fibresand.
Having won three of her last four races, only losing the other by a nose, it’s difficult to look beyond Aubrietia for the 5.00 Southwell.
Alan McCabe’s filly has been transformed since the application of blinkers, winning seven races in little over eight months. On her last start she proved she could handle Southwell’s fibresand surface, making all to win over 6f.
She is equally adept at the minimum trip and I expect Andrew Mullen to use her early speed and try make all again. At 15/8 (BetVictor), she looks tough to beat.
