Southwell Tips: Angelo Poliziano
Not been getting home over 6f, no surprise considering all his wins have come at the minimum distance. Should go close reverting back to 5f.
Angelo Poliziano has put in a couple of excellent performances over 6f at Southwell and reverting to his optimal trip of 5f he should be able to win the 1.25 contest.
Two starts back Angelo Poliziano came from practically last to finish third, a rare feat in Southwell sprints because the track favours prominent racers.
Seven days ago he looked like beating Fortinbrass, a useful sprinter rated 78, before his stamina ebbed away in the last 100 yards. Racing over 5f, where he’s done all his winning, he should be able to keep his nose in front.
