Southwell Racing Tip: Lets Move It

Never out of the top two with Robbie Fitzpatrick on board. The horse should get the fast pace he craves.

The 5.10 at Southwell is a low grade race packed with cheap speed. By that I mean horses that like to get the lead early in their race but don’t have the stamina to see it through. That is why so many of these horses have such a poor win ratio.

Given the cavalry charge we will get in the early part of the race we want to find another hold up horse. Kheley is the type to fit the bill but she is poorly drawn and held by today’s elections – Lets Move It.

Lets Move It has a very similar race style to stable companion Shawkantango. He loves the five furlong fibresand track but can often get detached during his race, only to finish strongly. To be at his best, Lets Move It needs a strong pace, he will get that today.

Drawn in stall nine, he should be in the thick of the action and his record over course and distance reads: 3426142. Jockey Robbie Fitzpatrick is on board today, who rides Southwell particularly well, and his record on the horse is 12.

That second place was behind hot pot Electioneer, who landed a huge gamble last time. On merit Lets Move It should have a 100% record over course and distance with Fitzpatrick on board. He should gain recompense this afternoon.
