Southwell All Weather Tip

Down to almost a career low mark this horse is ready to strike.

The 12.50 at Southwell is a wide open betting heat with exposed horses, nothing is going to run away with it but Charles Parnell has everything to suit.

A record of 3/12 in Class 6 races bodes well and almost down to a career low mark he is ready to strike. He’s form isn’t regressive winning as recently as October last year and his last two runs over course and distance have been full of promise. Two runs ago he finished fourth performing best of the hold-up horses in a 0-70 race (0-60 today).

Last time out over course and distance he again finished fourth behind Errigal Lad and Gold Story who he re opposes today. That form should be comfortably turned around as his rivals have impossible draws in stalls 11 and 13.

The dangers are Dancing Freddy, if he can recapture some sort of form although he has looked badly out of sorts and Hambleton from the flying Bryan Smart yard.
