Repetition to Score Again at Southwell
Won on his racecourse debut at Southwell, still relatively unexposed and might improve back on his favourite surface.
The 2.10 Southwell is a tricky race with the main protagonists not hiding anything from the market. Given the odds I’m therefore tempted to take a chance on Repetition.
In February last year he won at Southwell on his first career start, the first debutant to do so in the last 10 years. He’s struggled to find form since but at least we know he handles the fibresand.
After a lacklustre autumn, he seems to be coming to hand again. He’s finished fourth and fifth on his last two starts and returning to his favourite track he is worth a small each-way investment at 33/1 (Sportingbet) with 1/5 odds for a top-3 finish.
