Palace House Tip: Astrophysical Jet
Highly progressive over the trip this year, she looks a class act.
The 3.45 Palace House Stakes at Newmarket often sets the tone for the sprint season and is a keenly contested race. This year’s renewal is no exception with some interesting horses. Nunthorpe winners Sole Power and Borderlescott line up along with some up and coming talent.
Two of our ‘fillies to follow’ are in the field Breathless Kiss and Astrophysical Jet. The former still rated 93 takes a massive jump in class and although she could be up to this level, a good run will destroy her handicap mark. It is an interesting decision by Kevin Ryan to enter her.
Already a winner at group class is Astrophysical Jet. As a three year old taking on her elders last year she was deeply impressive, winning three of her four starts at this trip. With another winter to mature and grow you would expect her to be even better this year.
The times she clocked last season were bordering on group one so I expect her to be competitive in all the top five furlong races this summer.
