Kempton Tips: The New One
Rated 7lbs higher than My Tent Or Yours and has a more potent turn of foot.
The betting market for the 2.35 Kempton is dominated by two horses, with just a quarter of a point splitting The New One and My Tent Or Yours.
Both are talented hurdlers but I expect all the money to come for The New One. Antepost favourite for the Champion Hurdle he has done nothing but enhance his claims this season.
He slammed Rock On Ruby by 10 lengths on his reappearance and then showed a tremendous turn of foot to beat Zarkandar in the International Hurdle despite fluffing the last . He has won 6 of his 8 hurdle starts and is unbeaten at four starts over 2m/2m1f.
My Tent Or Yours should provide a stern test but he is 7lbs inferior on official ratings and that isn’t fully reflected in the betting.
