Incomparable Southwell Tip

Pace and draw bias both combine to create the perfect conditions for a big run.

The 15.20 Southwell is a cracking sprint handicap which should produce numerous future winners. On the straight 5f track it is essential to establish where the pace of the race will be and according to my calculations it should come from stalls 7-10.

The added bonus is that the middle to high section of the track appears to be the best place to race this winter leaving only four protagonists to benefit from the pace and draw biases.

Of the four Incomparable is my selection. Revitalised by a wind operation and a switch to Dandy Nicholl’s satellite yard the horse has already won over course and distance this winter. He followed up with three very good runs saving the best till last. Up in trip and drawn in stall 13 he was forced to race wide throughout the race, he still looked the most likely winner until overhauled by Jack Rackham in the last 100 yards.

Incomparabale had nothing go his way and emerges with great credit from that race. Dropped back in trip on a straight galloping track he has ideal conditions to score today.
