Ghostwing Primed For A Good Run

Has a good course and distance record, headgear back on and shaped well after a 3-month layoff.

Ghostwing has finished first and second in two starts over course and distance and he is primed for another big run in the 4.10 Southwell.

The 7-year-old put in an eye-catching performance t Lingfield on his last start, beaten only 4-lengths despite racing too far back and being hampered in the home straight.

That was his first run in almost 3 months and returning to his favourite all-weather surface, I expect a big improvement. The tongue-tie and visor are back on (wore both for his last win) and he is a worthy favourite at 5/2 (Betfred).
