Shock winner on debut but won on merit, running the fastest closing sectional on the card.
Maybelater was a shock winner on debut at 66/1 but there was no fluke about her victory.
After blowing the start she then ran a remarkable race. She tagged onto the rear of the pack and despite the steady pace (112.4% finishing speed), she came from last to first to win.
She came home in 22.38s, the fastest closing sectional in the race by 0.5s and the quickest on the card.
