Doncaster Tip: He’s A Humbug

Last time out he made up huge amounts of ground from off the pace. Yard is amongst the winners.

The 6.50 at Doncaster is a weak looking race and I fancy He’s A Humbug to rediscover some old form.

After almost a year off the track he made a very pleasing return at Catterick. Stumbling out of the gates from a wide draw, Micky Fenton was forced to race in last place. He’s A Humbug gave his rivals almost a ten lengths head start, not a smart move at a track that favours the front runners. He was the only horse to make any sort of move in the home-straight, coming from last place to finish third gaining five lengths in the process.

The move to Paul Midgley could revitalise a horse once rated in the 90s. The stable are amongst the winners and quite often a change of scenery can work wonders.
