Doncaster: Prodigality
Impressive winner 12 days ago considering he probably needed the run. Looks a progressive high-class sprinter.
Prodigality was a progressive horse last season but I was particularly impressed by his victory at Warwick 12 days ago.
Ron Harris’s horses usually need their first run of the season and he was taking on two race-fit rivals who had been racing through the winter. The fact that he managed to win, and win going away augers well.
Last season he finished 6th in the Portland when racing on the wrong side, a race he potentially would have won with a better draw. He’s a high class sprinter and looks overpriced at 12/1 (Paddy Power) in the 3.30 Doncaster.
