Catterick Tips: Elusivity
Conor Dore has found the key to him: 5f and cheek-pieces. Under those conditions he’s finished 1311222 for his new trainer.
Elusivity has been in cracking form of late and trainer Conor Dore must take plenty of credit. It took a few months to get to the bottom of him but a combination of cheek-pieces and a return to 5f has worked wonders.
Under those conditions, Elusivity has finished 1311222 and having previously struggled to win races, he can now get over the line.
He ran another fine race at Chepstow four days ago and if it hasn’t left a mark he should go well in the 8.25 Catterick.
He is suited by a sharp track (twice a winner over 5f at Southwell this winter) and is well drawn to attack in stall one. Some cut in the ground also works in his favour and he is the one to beat at 9/4 (William Hill).
