Catterick Tips: Emblaze
Injured on second start this summer but ran well before and after that setback.
Emblaze’s turf campaign was been interrupted by injury but she has shown enough ability to take a small race like the 8.25 Catterick.
Back in April, she showed bright speed when trying to make all at Musselburgh but unfortunately went too fast in the soft conditions and tired badly at the finish. Under the circumstances she did well to finish second and earn an adjusted speed rating of 56.
On the back of that performance she was sent off favourite next time out at Ayr but virtually pulled-up lame.
It’s taken a while for her to get over the injury but she again ran with promise when third at Ayr returning from a two-month layoff. That is now two good runs out of three and all with excuses. At 14/1 (Bet365) she can go well this evening.
