Ayr Tips: Hills Of Dakota

Record of 1162 when ‘soft’ is in the going description and well drawn against the far rail.

The 3.10 Ayr is not the strongest of races but Hills Of Dakota is one of the few horses in the field who has shaped like a winner recently.

He finished 1.75 lengths behind Mysterious Wonder two starts back at Hamilton but he has the better of the draw this afternoon. The stalls are positioned on the far side, which means horses drawn low have the advantage of the running rail.

The soft ground is also in Hills Of Dakota’s favour. In four starts on going described as ‘good to soft or softer’ he’s finished 1162 and never been beaten by more than 2.25 lengths.

With conditions to suit, he is slightly overpriced at 7/1 with Betfred.
