Ascot Tip: Zero Money

Should get a soft lead and unexposed at the trip.

Zero Money should regain the winning thread in the 4.25 at Ascot. He looked to be a horse going places before running flat in the Portland. Drawn in stall two he opted to go solo up the fair rail, the rest of the field stayed stand’s side and high drawn horses dominated the finish. He can be forgiven that run.

Previously he showed excellent pace to make all at Haydock, no mean feat considering he was racing into a strong headwind. He was the only horse to race prominently and contest a finish, on a day that suited horses getting cover. That win was achieved in a time that screamed listed class, so the step up from handicaps shouldn’t phase him.

Unexposed at the minimum distance, he looks a late developing sprinter, the type Roger Charlton excels with. Expect horse and jockey to make all up the favoured stand’s rail for a deserved win at 5/1 with Paddy Power.
