Ascot Tip: Medicean Man

Loves the track and in the form of his life.

All the stats point to Medicean Man in the 2.00 at Ascot and it is very hard to argue with them.
- His record at Ascot is 3 wins from 4 attempts.
- His record over five furlongs is 3 wins from 4 attempts.
- He has won his last two races.

With a superb record of 7 wins from 24 starts, Jeremy Gask’s sprinter is in the form of his life. The drop back to the minimum distance seems to have brought about further improvement.

The handicapper has had his say, with the horse up 10lbs for his two wins, but he can defy the penalty. Each victory at Ascot has seen the horse overcome trouble in running suggesting he could go even better with a clear passage.

The likes of Duchess Dora and Shoshoni Wind should ensure they go a good gallop. The conditions are ideal for Medicean Man and I can’t see anything beating him.
