Tartiflette has carried on where she left off last season and with plenty of headroom in her handicap mark she holds a big chance in the 3.50 Ascot.

Having spent most of 2012 plying her trade in soft conditions the advent of better ground has seen an upturn in her fortunes. She won at Docnaster on good ground at the backend of 2012 and followed up with victory at Haydock on her first start of 2013.

At her best coming off a strong pace she will enjoy the end-to-end gallop generated by the 27-runners in the Victoria Cup. Drawn in stall 7 she has plenty of front-runners around her to help set up the race.

Tartiflette earned a Racing Post Racing of 101 on her last start and in a similar type of race she should run above her handicap mark of 94. At 14/1 (Bet365) she looks a solid each-way bet with ¼ odds for at top-5 finish.
